He's an incredibly sweet, easygoing guy who loves being close to his people and soaking up all the love he can get.<br/><br/>He has such a gentle, lovable personality. He's house trained, keeps his kennel clean, and gets along great with other dogs. Basically, he's already got the "good boy" thing figured out. <br/><br/>Stitch recently got a taste of home life...and he would officially like to make it a permanent part of his lifestyle. <br/><br/>During his day out of the shelter, Stitch took a car ride, explored the neighborhood, made himself right at home with another dog, and discovered that being held like a baby is exactly the kind of treatment he deserves.<br/><br/>His review? <br/><br/>Big fan of the cuddles. Loved having a yard. Would absolutely move in.<br/><br/>Stitch was a perfect houseguest from beginning to end. He’s house trained, easygoing, and good with dogs, cats, and kids. He didn’t need any time to figure out home life—he fit right into it.<br/><br/>Unfortunately, his little staycation had to end, and Stitch returned to the shelter. Now he’s waiting for someone to give him a home he never has to leave.<br/><br/>He's just looking for someone who wants a sweet best friend, a cuddle buddy, and a handsome little shadow to share life with. Could that be you? <br/><br/>Stitch is a 1 year old Australian Cattle Dog/Pit Bull mix and he weighs 50 lbs.<br/><br/><br/><br/>ADOPTING A DOG<br/>Our dogs have been spayed or neutered, vaccinated, dewormed, microchipped and tested for heartworms (if 7 months or older).<br/><br/>If you have a dog or children we ask that you bring them with you to meet our dogs to make sure it is a good match.<br/><br/>We are open for meet and greet adoptions at our shelter on weekends. No appointment is necessary for weekend adoptions. Our weekend hours vary and we also have satellite adoption events every weekend.
