Stitch Belgian Shepherd / Malinois Port Angeles, WA

OMG. This perfect girl is Stitch and she is spectacular.
She is a 3 year old Belgian Malinois and she is as sweet as they come.
She is a velcro dog (no worries - she doesn't have any anxiety about being left alone - she just likes to be around her person whenever she is able) and will follow you everywhere you go. She loves affection and is ultra snuggly. Definitely a fan favorite at our rescue.
She's lived in a home and she is great. Not destructive, totally housebroken, and happy to lounge on the couch or lay next to you and get pets.
She is active however, and needs regular exercise for both brain and body.
She has lived with small children, however, we feel she'd be best with older kids only because she can be a bit of a reckless bulldozer at times. She has toppled a few toddlers in pursuit of her toys - she didn't mean it. But the kids weren't appreciative.
She did live in a home with a cat but that was a tenuous and managed relationship at best so probably best she go to a home without feline friends. She us fine supervised around the livestock (goats) at her current home, however, she should not be left alone with them nor should she have access to chickens. She'll control herself if you ask for it, but she'd likely not make the best choices if left to her own device - not a surprise with this breed.
Stitch is entirely non reactive with dogs and people - she loves everyone she meets and is great coexisting with other pups, even the little ones. She's a unicorn in that way.
The biggest challenge you'll encounter with her is that she is very intense about her toys so impulse control needs to be reinforced regularly. She's had a lot of training, and knows all sorts of cool stuff, but if you don't practice it with her, she can get grabby and reckless with toys making play with her unenjoyable.
She'd be awesome for dog sports - she can do just about anything.

- Malinois or other Working Breed Experience
- A plan for keeping her brain and body exercised
- An active lifestyle
- A sofa for her to snuggle on ;)
