Stitch's Story

Stitch was rescued from Shreveport Louisiana. He has come a long way and is doing great in his foster home. He gets along with a mini Aussie and also with the resident cat. Stitch is very active, he can play for hours then take a nap, so he would do best in a home with another dog or dogs. He has almost completed his heartworm treatment and will be rechecked soon. Currently in Greeneville TN, he is ready for his own home soon as his treatment is completed. Questions email sharon@blackjackrescue.org

Blackjack Animal Rescue's Adoption Policy

Please go to www.blackjackrescue.org and fill out an application under adopt menu. We have dogs placed in foster homes in many states including Indiana, Tennessee, North Carolina, Virginia, and Connecticut. Our adoption fee helps to cover the costs associated with rescuing and vetting. Once your application is received, we will check references and call you to schedule a meet & greet or home visit. Depending on your location, the home visit may need to be completed by a rescue organization that is local to you. Once approved to adopt, pickup or third-party transport will be arranged for your new family member. It is our preference that you are able to personally meet the dog prior to adopting. We do not have a physical structure, but we have dedicated foster homes in many states. Please have your application completed in order to schedule the home visit or meet and greet.
