Meet Stitch! At just two years old, Stitch is a fun, energetic, loveable goofball, eager to learn new things and ready to find his forever home.<br/>Stitch has lived with cats and young kids but has not lived with other dogs. He seems curious and generally friendly towards the other dogs at the shelter. Potential adopters who have a dog will need to do a meet and greet with their dog and Stitch prior to adoption. Potential adopters should be aware that Stitch will need help with housetraining and we will provide information and guidance to help with that. <br/>Stitch currently weighs about 55lbs but could stand to put on a few more pounds. He is neutered and current on vaccinations.

North Kingstown Animal Shelter's Adoption Policy
Our mission is to provide a healthy, safe, and caring environment for each animal in our keeping, and ultimately to place them in loving “forever homes.” We fulfill our mission by ensuring that each animal is spayed or neutered prior to adoption, and also by providing other medical care and comfort items for the animals. From Points North: Take 95 South to Exit 9 (exit is on the left), RI-4 South toward North Kingstown.  After 9.3 miles, turn left onto West Allenton Road.  After 1/2 mile, turn right onto Tower Hill Road/US-1.  After .2 miles, turn left onto Hamilton Allenton Road.  395 Hamilton Allenton Road is about 1/2 mile on the left. Another way to get here is by taking Route 1 South (Post Road) past the Wickford turn off (a 4-way intersection with Ten Rod Road on your right and Phillips Street on your left). Continue south 2 miles, turn left onto Hamilton Allenton Road.  395 Hamilton Allenton Road is about 1/2 mile on the left.
