STEWIE ( Urgent foster needed )

Meet Stewie — a little soul who needs time to feel safe again. <br/><br/>Since arriving in our care, Stewie has been very uncertain and timid. His world changed when his family gave him up, and right now he seems a little lost and unsure of who and what he can trust.<br/><br/>Stewie will come to you on his own terms, and he will allow you to pick him up, but sudden movements and unfamiliar noises can still make him jump. He isnt a dog who needs to be pushed — he needs someone willing to give him the time and space to realize that he is safe again.<br/><br/>One place Stewie truly seems happy is outside. He loves lying in the dirt or curling up in the garden, sniffing the air and taking everything in. And when he gets moving, out comes the most adorable, confident little Chihuahua strut — complete with his tiny squinty eyes. <br/><br/>We believe there is a sweet little dog underneath all that uncertainty who just needs patience, consistency and kindness to come back out.<br/><br/>Stewie is looking for either a foster home or his forever home with someone who understands timid dogs and wont expect him to immediately be comfortable, affectionate or settled.
