Stewardess's Story
Meet Stewardess, the 3-year-old, 39-lb pup who's ready for takeoff straight into her forever home! With her bright personality and playful spirit, this little co-pilot is always prepared for an adventure-no boarding pass required.

Stewardess is an energetic, fun-loving girl who brings first-class enthusiasm to everything she does. She loves toys (the sturdier, the better!) and will happily entertain herself-though she may "deplane" a few chunks from softer toys if given the chance. She knows "sit," enjoys meeting new people, and after she burns off some energy, she's more than happy to settle in and enjoy some pets at cruising altitude.

On leash, Stewardess can pull a bit, but thanks to her smaller size, she's quite manageable and gets into a good walking rhythm with a little guidance. She may try to chase a squirrel or two on the runway, but she redirects with ease. She can be jumpy when excited-especially if she spots a treat or toy-and she can be a bit snatchy with snacks, so a flat palm is the best way to "secure your belongings."

In the car, Stewardess needs to be buckled in well, as she'll try to co-pilot from the front seat if given the chance. Out in public, she's friendly and curious-she did great on her recent Home Depot layover, greeting admirers with her usual eager charm (and a few jumps to say hello).

Stewardess is sweet, social, playful, and full of joy. If you're looking for a spirited adventure buddy who will keep your days soaring, this little flight attendant is ready to begin her final boarding into a loving home.

Stewardess came in with another dog so may do well with a playful canine companion with proper, slow introductions. As always, we strongly recommend that resident dogs meet any new potential canine family members. If bringing a resident dog for a dog to dog test, please bring proof of Rabies, DHPP, and Bordetella vaccines.

To meet your new pet, come to Guilford County Animal Services between 12 and 4 any day except Tuesday!
