Stew is approximately 1-2 years old and weighs 42lbs. He’s a very good boy with the sweetest soul. <br/><br/>We originally met Stew at a tiny rural shelter. He had been brought in as a stray and had huge ticks in both ears and he didn’t put any weight on his back leg. He was seen at the shelter’s vet and xrays showed multiple fractures in his hind leg and a shattered patella. A bullet was seen on the xray. We could not believe someone could have shot this amazing soul dog! <br/><br/>Stew was immediately tagged by our rescue. After a full vet exam, it was determined that his injuries were too severe and his leg required an amputation. <br/><br/>Stew handled surgery like a champ and has completed his rehabilitation.<br/><br/>Stew had a very rough start to life and is ready to put all of that behind him. We are looking for an amazing, loving forever home for this very good boy. <br/><br/>Stew is good with other dogs and loves people.
