Stevie Nicks's Story

Meet Stevie Nicks! A 5 year old terrier/ super mutt who is ready to find her furever home.

Stevie Nicks is a sweet, soulful pup looking for a fresh start. Originally adopted from our rescue as a puppy, Stevie has spent the last four years in a loving home. Unfortunately, her family has made the heartbreaking decision to rehome her as she isn’t getting along with the the newborn baby :( we are hoping to find a patient, committed foster or adopter to help her through this tough transition.

Stevie is dog-friendly in neutral environments like dog parks and daycare, but can be territorial at home, so slow introductions are key. She needs 20–30 minutes to warm up to new people, but once she does, she’s loyal and loving. She’s house-trained, crate-trained, and thrives in a calm, structured space. She may get carsick during drives and is not tested with cats. Small children can be overwhelming for her due to her herding instincts, so older kids are best.

This is a dog who’s been deeply bonded with her family and will need time to decompress and adjust. We’re looking for someone who can give her the patience and consistency she needs to feel safe again. Stevie is 5 years old, about 30 pounds, and is up to date on vaccines, spayed, potty trained and crate trained.

Help us show this girl that love is still waiting for her!
