Meet Stevie!<br/><br/>Stevie is a very sweet girl who may need a little time to warm up, but once she trusts you, she will quickly become your favorite little shadow! She can be very wary of new people, dogs, and unfamiliar environments, so slow introductions are highly recommended. It is important to understand and respect her body language and boundaries while she gets comfortable. Stevie has experience with some dogs, but slow and thoughtful introductions are still in her best interest. <br/><br/>She also has experience with cats, although she does not always understand how to appropriately approach or interact with them, so careful supervision and slow introductions would be recommended.<br/><br/>Once she bonds with you, Stevie loves attention, affection, and being close to her people. She enjoys playing fetch with tennis balls, tugging on rope toys, and, of course, getting plenty of snacks and treats! Stevie is not a fan of baths or car rides, so patience, positive reinforcement, and gradual practice are recommended with both. She also has crate experience. With time, patience, and a little understanding, Stevie is sure to be an incredibly loving and loyal companion.<br/><br/>*Adoption holds may be placed on available animals in person or by calling (320) 252-0896. An adoption hold reserves available animals for one day after the animal is ready to be adopted. More than one adoption hold may be placed on an available animal and will be honored in the order they were received. Adoption holds are $25 plus tax, are non-refundable, non-transferable and not applied toward the adoption fee.<br/><br/>**Minnesota sales tax and an administrative fee ($20 for cats/dogs and $10 for small animals) will be applied to all adoptions. Donations and adoption fees help cover the cost of spay/neuter surgeries, microchipping, vaccinating, deworming, any medical procedures, and general care of all shelter animals.
