Stevie's Story
Meet Stevie!

Stevie is a 10 week old mini Bernedoodle who was surrendered due a traumatic event at 2 days old. She is estimated to be around 20-30 pounds full-grown, she's already showing herself to be sweet, social, and delightfully puppy ish.

Stevie is great with dogs of all sizes, and she's also been wonderful with cats and kids, making her a lovely fit for many different family setups. She enjoys playtime and would love a home with another playful dog, though it's not a requirement. She's doing great in her crate, is still a work in progress with potty training (as most babies are!), and approaches new experiences with curiosity and tail wags. A fenced yard is not required.

A note about Stevie's coordination

Stevie does have an undiagnosed coordination issue. Right now, she has no functional limitations - she plays, eats, rests, and enjoys life like any other puppy. She can be a bit uncoordinated, and while this may be orthopedic or neurological in nature, the exact cause is currently unknown. Diagnostic testing done to date is unremarkable.

We want to be transparent: this is something that may improve as she grows, may stay the same, or may require monitoring or future care. What's important to know is that Stevie is comfortable, happy, and thriving in foster care.

Stevie's ideal home

Stevie is looking for a family who values connection over perfection and is comfortable moving forward with a little uncertainty. An adopter who is patient, observant, and willing to continue veterinary follow up as she grows will be key. In return, Stevie promises unconditional love, playful energy, and a lifetime of companionship.

If you believe that some of the most special dogs are the ones who need just a little extra understanding, Stevie may be the perfect addition to your family.

Adoption Details:
First two rounds of vaccines, dewormed & microchipped

Adopters must sign a 6-month spay contract with a refundable $250 deposit, NO exceptions around spaying at 6-months

Reminders:
- You can only have ONE application on file at a time
- We cannot respond to all messages and emails, please be patient - we are a rescue run 100% by volunteers

Zoe's House
Kennel #9117
Sinking Spring, PA 19608
