This handsome young man is Steve Perrynees. He's only a year old and is looking for his new family. He's a sweetheart however prefers to be in a home as the singular four legged furry. He does not like to share his food with humans. We can't blame him for that. Steve is in the guardian breed; he protects his home and property. As such, he thinks it part of his job to chase things that run such as cats, ducks and presumably other barnyard fowl. He'll do best without those critters to chase around. He's a bit on the thin side at 55 pounds but he's still just a baby and won't be full grown until he's 2-3 years old. His adoption fee is $300.<br/><br/>All of our animals are provided with age appropriate vaccinations, spayed/neutered and microchipped prior to adoption. To meet our incredible dogs and offer them the love they deserve, stop by PAWS on Friday or Saturday from 10 - 4 PM, call us at 217-243-7297. We do applications in person or over the phone. You can also see pictures on our Facebook page, PAWS Jackson. With an approved application, a deposit will hold your new best friend for up to 1 week to allow you time to come to PAWS. This deposit is not refundable nor transferable.
