Steve's Story

Meet Steve – Your Favorite Goofball in a Fluffy White Coat! If laughter is the best medicine, then Steve is ready to be your daily prescription! This handsome Great Pyrenees is a lovable, oversized goofball who brings joy wherever he goes. With his goofy personality, silly antics, and constant ability to make people smile, Steve is the kind of dog who turns ordinary days into adventures.Steve is wonderful with kids and absolutely loves spending time with his family. He's affectionate, fun-loving, and always up for a good romp in the yard. While he enjoys the company of some other dogs, he prefers to make friends slowly and tends to get along best with female dogs after a proper introduction.Despite his Great Pyrenees roots, Steve would have definitely flunked out of livestock guardian school! His prey drive is simply too strong, which means he cannot live with cats or other small animals.Steve's happy place is a securely fenced backyard where he can stretch his legs, patrol the perimeter, play, and enjoy life at his own pace. He much prefers free play and exploring the yard over long, structured walks. Like many big, powerful dogs, Steve is strong on leash and is still working on his walking manners. He's also been known to get excited by bicycles and cars and may try to chase them, so he'll need a confident handler who can safely manage his strength.Steve is looking for a home that appreciates his goofy charm, understands his quirks, and will give him the space and security he needs to thrive. In return, he'll provide endless entertainment, unconditional love, and plenty of unforgettable moments. If you're searching for a big-hearted, fun-loving companion who will keep you laughing every single day, Steve is ready to become your new best friend. What his adoption fee covers:âœ...
