Sterling

Sterling was found as a stray along a busy highway. He was very thin, had a terrible rash on his chest, severely infected ears, and his demeanor was so sad and dejected that we assumed at first that he must be a relatively old guy. Well, did he show us! Now, after a few weeks, feeling a lot better and just loving everybody around him, he is a big goofball who loves to play with toys, take himself for a walk( yes, he holds his leash himself) and take long naps on the sofa when it is just too hot to go outside. He loves to interact with other dogs - big and small - and will invite them to play with him, but then gets intimidated when they do (do not tell him we told you this, please) and retreats back inside. You cannot help but fall in love with this guy! <br/><br/>Our Furry Friendz are available for adoption through a screening process which includes but is not limited to: a completed application, 3 referrals, a home visit, and a vet referral prior to their furever home placement. The dogs are Spayed/Neutered, micro chipped, current on all vaccines and on heart worm/flea preventive.
