Hi there! I’m Sterling, and I’m currently living in foster care so I can learn all the house rules and be ready for my forever family! I’ve been settling into home life quickly, and my foster family says I’m doing a great job figuring things out.<br/><br/>I’ve already learned quite a few important skills! I go potty outside, I learned how to use the stairs, and crate training came easily to me. I’m also practicing my manners and working on things like sit and stay at meal time. I even know leave it and drop it, and I’m proud to show off what I’ve learned!<br/><br/>When I’m not busy learning, I love the simple joys of being a dog. I enjoy chasing leaves, chewing on sticks, and going on walks with my foster family to take the kids to school and pick them up. I love meeting new people and soaking up attention wherever I go, and I’d be thrilled to have dog friends to play with too!<br/><br/>I’m a pretty chill guy overall. One of my favorite things is stretching out in a sunny spot or curling up on a cozy blanket for a nap after a day of adventures. I’m still getting used to some of the louder sounds in the world like thunderstorms, but I’m learning that everything is okay, and I’m even getting more comfortable around things like the vacuum!<br/><br/>If you’re looking for a smart, eager-to-learn pup who’s already making great progress and can’t wait to find his forever home, I’d love to meet you!
