Meet Stellar -- the Sweetest Wallflower 💐<br/><br/>Stellar is a senior black and white Lab/Pit mix who came to us from a loving home after her owner's health declined. She's spent her life being someone's best friend and is now hoping to find a new family to fill that role once more.<br/><br/>She's a gentle, sensitive soul who's been understandably overwhelmed by the hustle and bustle of the shelter. A bit of a nervous nelly, Stellar may start out shy, but with patience and kindness, her sweet personality shines through. She's done well with both dogs and cats in our temperament testing, and we believe she'll be much more confident once she's back in a calm, predictable home environment.<br/><br/>Stellar would do best with children 8 and older, not because she isn't sweet (she absolutely is!), but because loud noises and sudden movements can spook her. Thunderstorms and fireworks aren't her jam either--but who can blame her?<br/><br/>When she's feeling safe, Stellar loves to play ball, show off her "sit" for cookies, and learn new things to please her people. She's smart, eager to connect, and just waiting for a quiet home and a warm heart to help her feel secure again.<br/><br/>Ready to give this lovely lady a soft place to land? Stella's got a lot of love left to give--you just have to earn her trust, and she'll be your loyal shadow for life. 🐾 While she is currently spending time at a foster home to give her a cozy wait until her forever family finds her, inquire about her with our Front Office staff and they would love to give you more insight on just how wonderful she is!<br/><br/>Requirements: Martingale Collar; Children 8yrs+All of our dogs and cats are spayed/neutered, up to date with age appropriate vaccinations, heart worm or feleuk/FIV tested, fecal tested, rabies and tag, and microchipped before being placed in your home. Our adoption fee helps cover this cost.
