Below is the bio written by the owner of the dog.**<br/><br/>Name: Stella<br/><br/>Nicknames: Stella Bella, Stella Girl, Stella Baby<br/><br/>Age or Date of Birth: March 3, 2022 (4 years old)<br/><br/>Activity Level: She is part couch potato/ adventure buddy. She has the best zoomies, but can also hang out all day. She would do very well with daily walks/ fetch time in a backyard. She is also a great hiking buddy and has done well with 3-hour hikes.<br/><br/>Things I do in my free time: I love napping with you, being chased, playing fetch, “splooting” and going on hikes! Folks at Lowes and Home Depot love me and I love to see them!<br/><br/>Things I know: I know how to shake your hand, sit, stay, come, “off”<br/><br/>Things I am learning/currently working on: Healing on leash, calming down when I see other dogs on walks!<br/><br/>Who I currently live with (humans and animals): I live with 3 humans, 3 other dogs and 2 cats<br/><br/>How I do with kids: I have only been with an infant 8 months and younger for long periods of time. I am very gentle with the baby, and sniff and am curious but don’t get too excited.<br/><br/>How I do with dogs: I would do best with another male dog, other female dogs can be challenging for me. I have a big personality with other dogs and need an owner who knows how to read my body language. I can get protective of my food and should be fed separately.<br/><br/>How I do with cats: I can get super excited at first but then realize that cats are not toys and may not want to play with me! I love to nap with my cat friends, but will need training at first with new cats.<br/><br/>My current size: 70lbs<br/><br/>How I do in my kennel: My kennel is my safe place. I go there on my own and sleep in my kennel at night.<br/><br/>How I do in car rides: I have come so far with car rides! At first, I couldn’t get in the car and when I did, I would shake. Now, I can jump in vehicles and know they take me to go on walks and see exciting things!<br/><br/>Am I house trained?: Yes<br/><br/>Additional Info from foster: Stella has grown in confidence and agility in literal leaps and bounds. When she came to us, she was incredibly clumsy, uncoordinated and didn't do well with tile or slippery floors. Now, she runs, jumps, dodges and crawls with the best of them! Tile can still be hard for her- the trick is to not get her too excited and then ask her to come to you. Loud noises can be startling to her. She also has a minor heart murmur that will require monitoring. She has the BEST zoomies and happy-feet.<br/><br/>This is a fantastic dog who wants to cuddle and play and I want to give her the best home. I can’t tell you how much this dog just wants to LOVE people. She is an exceptional companion.
