Stella

Stella is almost two years old, and while she may be a big dog, her heart is even bigger. Her journey hasn’t been an easy one—found as a stray, she ended up at the shelter before coming into our rescue. She’s spent time in two wonderful foster homes, including one with our trainer, who has helped her grow into the incredible dog she is today.<br/>Stella truly is amazing. She’s smart, eager to please, and full of love—but like any dog who has been through so much change, she needs someone who will be patient and understanding as she settles in. The 3-3-3 rule is so important with her. She knows her training, but new environments can throw her off at first. She may pull on the leash or bark at things in those early days, but those are just small hurdles on the way to something beautiful. And the best part? Our trainer is more than willing to help her new family work through anything she needs.<br/>She is wonderful with kids, cats, and other dogs. She just keeps getting let down, and our hearts break for her—because she has so much love to give to the right family.<br/>We would love nothing more than to see Stella finally get her forever home for Christmas.
