Meet Stella! <br/>Say hello to Stella, a sweet girl with a big heart, a love for tasty treats, and a serious appreciation for a good chicken-and-cheese snack! <br/><br/>Stella may take a little time to warm up, but once she decides you’re her person, you’ll know it. One of her favorite ways to show affection is to lean right against your leg—because sometimes the best place to be is close to your favorite human. <br/><br/>Stella is also a girl who knows what she wants when she’s out on a walk! She pulls hard on leash, so her future family should be ready to work with her on her walking skills and help her learn that strolling nicely can be just as fun as getting somewhere fast. With patience, consistency, and plenty of positive reinforcement, Stella can keep making progress. <br/>Good news for dog lovers: Stella previously lived in a home with other dogs, so she has experience sharing her world with canine companions. We just suggest a proper meet to see how they will do with each other. <br/><br/>Interested in adopting Stella? We recommend submitting a general online adoption application and then heading to the shelter during our normal adoption hours to meet our available animals.
