Hi, I am Stella! Just look into my beautiful eyes, brown and blue. I am a very active Shepherd mix dog. I was found roaming for a while near a golf course in rural Missouri. I was a little malnourished and scared. Someone picked me up, but they couldn't keep me, so that is how I ended up at Mission Monipaw. I am so glad they rescued me, but I REALLY want a family of my very own that lets me be in the house with them all the time. <br/>She has gotten better with leash and kennel training every day. She will need a strong owner who can help her grow with these skills and give her structure. She is a bit too much for younger kids, but is friendly just too high energy.<br/>She loves to be with her people and is very submissive to people and other dogs. She hasn't tried to run off at our farm. Her recall off leash is getting better also. She really wants to be with you outside or inside. <br/>She has done great with other dogs with proper introductions and is very submissive. Any dogs in her future furever home will require a meet and greet. She would do great as an only dog in an active family or on a farm with fur siblings too! <br/>She can jump our 4 ft chain link fence, so a privacy fenced-in yard or supervised lead time and frequent walks will be a requirement to adopt Stella. We are not sure of Stella's exact age, but she is young 2-3 and still has lots of puppy in her (chewing on things, some accidents in kennel and house, etc.) she will need guidance to help overcome these with time. I do think she would house train very quickly if she was inside all the time.<br/>Stella has received her rabies and parvo vaccines. She has also been spayed and received a negative heartworm test and de-wormer.<br/>There will be a $50 adoption fee to help cover some of her vet bills.
