Stella's Story

Meet Stella - A Gentle Soul from Korea Looking for Her Forever Home

Stella's journey is nothing short of inspiring. Rescued from the meat market in Korea, this sweet girl has traveled thousands of miles in search of safety, love, and a second chance at life. Stella is a Dosa mix (Korean Mastiff), known for their calm demeanor and affectionate nature-and she's no exception.

When Stella first arrived, she was understandably shy and unsure of her new surroundings. But with time, patience, and plenty of love in her foster home, she has blossomed into a gentle, loving companion. Her calm temperament makes her a perfect fit for a peaceful household, and she gets along beautifully with other dogs.

Stella is still learning to trust the world around her, but she's making wonderful progress every day. She thrives in a quiet, supportive environment where she can continue to build her confidence.

If you're looking for a loyal, kind-hearted friend who just needs a little love to shine, Stella could be the perfect addition to your family.

Interested in meeting Stella? Submit an application today and our staff will be in touch!

Update from her foster: "Stella is one of the gentlest dogs we've ever met. She is the sweetest, low energy lady. Despite her large size, she walks incredibly well on a leash - she has no prey drive whatsoever, and easily passes squirrels, rabbits, and other dogs without a peep. She is quiet as a mouse, we've never heard her bark in any scenario. We think she could easily live with a cat, and currently lives with a dog friend who she is happy to co-exist with. She is happiest laying on her comfortable dog bed, surveying the scene around her. She is housetrained on a schedule - and honestly one of the easiest fosters we've ever had. Stella would do best in a quiet house, with family that are happy to let her relax most of the day, and go at her pace as she warms up!"
