Stella

Stella (approximately 56 pounds) was transferred to the NHSPCA from an overcrowded shelter in Tennessee. This gorgeous girl is just a big playful pup! She is so friendly that she'd make an excellent WalMart greeter - every person is met with enthusiasm and love from our Stella. She gets along very well with other dogs and has been known to be submissive to other canines. Stella is so happy to see people that she wants to jump up and give hugs; the staff at her previous shelter has been working hard on curbing this behavior, and while Stella now knows the "sit" and "stay" commands, she sometimes still gets excited and wants to pop up for a hug. It's so hard to rein in this kind of loving zeal, LOL!
