Stella's Story

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Stella and her friend were left in a house from the Great Tornado in St. Louis. They lived their alone and thankfully a kind neighbor came and fed them and checked on them. The elderly man passed away and the lady was picked up by relatives. The animals were left to fend for themselves until the neighbor got the word out. Many cats were saved and Stella ended upi at the HS and they did a Great Job getting her well. Then we went and got her when she was well enough to leave. she has been here a couple of weeks now and doing much better and putting on some weight. She hates the crate so, we use the puppy pen. She loves the dogs and listens well. She needs to put on weight. She is shy but comes out of that. Don't know about kids or cats. She is fully vetted, heartworm tested, wounds are healed, she has been x-rayed from head to toe and is spayed. If you are interested please fill out an online application. We do vet checks, home visits and securely fenced in yard is required. Thanks to everyone who took part in saving all these animals!
