Steffie arrived in rescue after coming from a puppy mill in a rural area during winter. She arrived heart worm positive, but has undergone treatment and is doing great! She has settled into foster care nicely and has been loving learning how to "dog". Her foster dad says she would like to introduce herself:<br/>Hi, my name is Steffie. I’m a very sweet and friendly little girl. However, I am extremely shy and scared at first until I get comfortable with you. I am also scared of sudden movements and loud noises, so it is ideal for me to have a “safe space” where I can go and hide. Once I’m settled and feel safe, I have a laid back and “chill” personality. I love to nap, run around outside and play but I’m not a big fan of toys. I sleep well through the night and am potty trained, but an occasional accident could happen. I would prefer a home with no young children or other animals (unless they are smaller than me) and a human who can be home with me most of the day would be ideal. So if you are looking for a gentle, loyal and loving best friend, you should definitely pick me!<br/><br/>Steffie is spayed, up to date on vaccines, on flea and heart worm prevention, microchipped and has had her teeth cleaned!<br/><br/>Steffie is fostered in the Orlando area and her adoption donation is $375.
