Stax

Meet Stax. He is the kind of dog who makes a house feel more like home. Whether he’s supervising dinner from the kitchen floor, watching birds from the window, carrying sticks through the snow, or resting his head on a pillow for an afternoon nap, he simply loves being part of everyday life. He has an expressive face, an infectious smile, and a goofy streak that shines through in everything from enthusiastic toy de-stuffing sessions to joyful backyard zoomies.Life in foster homes has shown just how naturally Stax settles into a routine. He’s house-trained, sleeps through the night, rides well in the car, and is content to relax while his people work or tackle chores. He’s also bright and eager to learn—he picked up “shake” in just a few minutes—and always appreciates earning a tasty reward. Whether you’re heading out for an adventure or enjoying a quiet evening at home, Stax is happiest when he gets to come along for the ride.Stax has spent far too long waiting for a family, but that hasn’t stopped him from forming meaningful connections everywhere he goes. He’s shared his foster homes with respectful children, happily welcomed affection, and charmed everyone from neighbors to houseguests with his warm personality. Like any dog, he’ll appreciate patient introductions to new experiences, but once he feels at home, his true personality shines: loyal, affectionate, funny, and endlessly endearing. If you’re looking for a best friend who will make you laugh, join you on adventures, and then happily curl up nearby at the end of the day, Stax is ready to fill that role.
