Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable so for most of the dogs we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each dog as an individual and will do our best to describe each of our pets based on personality, not breed label.<br/><br/>This unique beauty is Starlight! She's one and half years old, on the larger side of medium (40 pounds) but fully grown. Starlight is likely a Carolina Dog/German Shepherd mix and has the ears to prove it but, could easily be a pure-bred Carolina Dog. She has the classical Carolina Dog coat pattern and she will stand out in a crowd.<br/><br/>Starlight likes to play fetch and is friendly with other dogs. We're not convinced she is totally accepting of cats so we'll call her cat curious and advise that a slow and careful introduction would be required if there's a cat in the home. Starlight has not been observed around small children but with kids over 7 she is great.<br/><br/>Starlight has mastered crate training and is house trained. She is quite agreeable...she's fun and playful, likes to cuddle with her people, knows simple commands, and is leash trained! She would be a wonderful walking buddy.<br/><br/>Starlight is fully vetted, microchipped, and ready to go!
