Stark's Story

This big beautiful boy is the sweetest man you'll ever have in your life. He is stoic, goofy, incredibly friendly, and has one of the purest souls you'll find in a dog. At risk of euthanasia for exhibiting signs of kennel stress, we knew this kid needed to be busted out of the shelter. Once he settled into our environment, he became a completely different dog. His past is unknown, but he arrived to us with a 5 inch scar across his head and some missing bottom teeth. Combined with his hand shy nature in the beginning, we assume he didn't have the best life before us. He's responsive to training, friendly with female and male dogs (but really enjoys his girlfriends lol), and doesn't exhibit any signs of prey drive. He is crate trained, does not have any separation anxiety, and even walks nicely on the leash! This dog is the perfect shepherd for beginners. Stark had been overlooked for too long. It's time that he lands his forever home!
