Star's Story

INTRODUCING STAR

Star is a beautiful Rottie blend that is 7 years old and ready for her furever Family! She was returned to us after 3 years due to no fault of her own. She weighs 125 lbs and her foster is dedicated to getting some weight off of her through activities and exercise.

Star is the sweetest gal who enjoys hugs, going on walks and hanging out with her favorite people.
She gets along with other dogs that are not aggressive or overly dominant. She is kid friendly and tested well with cats. She does have some food and toy resource guarding so separated or well-supervised feedings is advised and supervision with toys with other dogs is necessary.

Star loves to go swimming, play with her ball and her stuffies. She loves all the attention she can get from humans (even kids) and will reciprocate with gentle kisses if receptive. Belly rubs and head scratches are her favorite.

She requires someone to have her on a consistent potty schedule since she holds it but doesnt know how to tell you she needs to go. A fenced yard is required as she will wonder off.

The only command she was taught is to sit. Star would benefit from a family that is home with her most of the time. She is a very loving and attentive girl that will be a wonderful companion.
