Stan's Story

Much like his cookie states, Stan is absolutely Pawfect! He is currently about 65 pounds but could stand to gain a few and is very tall so prospective forever families would need to be looking for a big dog. He is the perfect companion pet and simply wants to be with his people all of the time. He is definitely a velcro dog and likes to go anywhere with his people. He loves car rides, loves being groomed, loves to go on walks and just really has a fantastic personality. He never offers to go over a fence, but is you walk away and leave him, he can certainly sail over things about 36 inches tall to make sure he gets back to his person. He loves kids and has a very gentle temperament. He is currently fostering in a home with a cat but does want to chase it so he is not left home alone with the kitty. Too he met a kitten and really wanted to get at it so we think a kitty-free home may be the best option for him. He does get along with other dogs but can get jealous when it comes to them getting attention when he is not. He does know how to sit and also how to shake. He does walk well on a leash and is happy to accompany you anywhere. Stan is 4 years old and is beyond the crazy puppy phase and would be an easy integration into any home. The last picture in his profile is when we got him. He had a grown out teddy bear cut and unfortunately needed to have a much closer shave due to his coat being neglected and matted. He loves his new do and is feeling quite sassy. He is a doodle so will need regular grooming along with trips to a professional every so often if you choose to leave him in a longer coat. Stan would also be a very easy pup for first-time dog families. If you are interested in having a constant companion and think Stan may be your guy, please email iPAWinc2022@gmail.com.
