Stan's Story

Stan is an approx 1 year old, Dachshund mix and has the sweetest disposition. He weighs about 21 lbs and has a long body with short legs. He's adorable and everyone who meets him falls in love. This low rider is sweet, gentle and affectionate. He'd be fine living in a home with a yard or an apartment. He's crate trained and does great with his potty outside. Stan is being fostered with a few other dogs and is very dog friendly. He enjoys playing with the younger puppies but is also fine lounging with the adult dogs. He isn't a high energy dog who is going to run you ragged with exercise needs so if you are looking for more of a snuggle bug than a jogging companion, Stan's your man. Stan was pulled from a shelter in Modesto by the good folks at Hair of the Dog Rescue. He was apparently picked up as a stray by animal control.
