STALLONE's Story

If you’ve ever thought how absolutely adorable those little dashboard bobble head dogs are you are going to love this Stallone. He is 9 months old and he can't wait for a foster or forever home. He is one of those dogs who has everyone falling in love as soon as he walks into a room. He has the best underbite we've ever seen (truly award worthy) and a gentle wobble to his head when he’s excited or tired. After a full neurological workup, Stallone was diagnosed with a congenital brain condition called corpus callosum dysgenesis, along with disconjugate nystagmus. In simple terms: a small part of his brain didn’t fully develop before he was born.
The important part? It is not progressive, it will not get worse over time, and it does not affect his quality of life or lifespan. His neurologist has reassured us that Stallone can live a happy, full, normal life, he just comes with a little extra personality built in. He loves other dogs, is playful, and very affectionate. We love this boy and we’re looking for a family that will see his differences not as limitations, but as part of what makes him so special.

ADOPTION INFORMATION

HOW TO GO ABOUT ADOPTING:
- Come in during adoption hours to apply and fill out an application completely.
