Stafford's Story

I’m Stafford! I was born around December 1, 2025, and I’m a Shepherd/Lab mix with a big personality packed into a small, growing body. My journey started a little rough—I was found abandoned with my siblings near a sanctuary, and sadly, we lost two of them to parvo. But I’m a strong, happy boy who’s been thriving ever since and is so ready for a loving forever home.

Here’s why I’m such a special pup:

Playful & Energetic – I LOVE to play and have tons of puppy energy to keep you smiling all day.

Goofy Personality – I’m a total goofball who will keep you entertained with my silly antics.

Super Affectionate – I’m extremely loving and cuddly—I’ll happily soak up all your attention.

Social Butterfly – I adore other dogs and love making new friends wherever I go.

I’m still learning the ropes of being the best boy I can be! I’m working on potty training and making good progress, and I’m doing well with leash training. I’m not crate trained just yet, but with consistency and love, I’ll get there. I do have a bit of separation anxiety and may bark or scratch when left alone for a while, but I just really love being around my people.

My dream home would have a yard where I can run, play, and burn off all my fun energy. I’d especially love another dog to wrestle and play with—it’s my favorite thing ever! An active family who’s ready for puppy adventures, training, and lots of love would be perfect for me.

My adoption fee is $550, this fee covers my first year of vaccinations, neuter, and microchip. Do I sound like the perfect match for you? You can fill out an application to adopt me at http://www.thecantufoundation.org
