Cassie's Place 's Adoption Policy

Cassie's Place has an adoption process that does it's best to increase the rate of successful lifelong adoption for our animals. Applications are processed in the order they are received. Once we have an application, we begin to process it and verify information to see if they qualify for the pet they are seeking to adopt. We preform home checks as well as a meet and greet at our facility for all people and dogs living in the home to make sure the chemistry is right. If all goes well, we proceed into a minimum two-week trial period to see if the family and animal are a good fit for each other. If trial is successful, all parties and animal will return to Cassie's Place to finalize adoption. *Many of our adoptable dogs are local adopt only based on special needs, so make sure to ask if not local.
