Staci's Story

Meet Staci!

Staci is a beautiful Plott Hound and American Staffordshire Terrier mix with a stunning brindle coat and an incredibly gentle, loving heart. This sweet girl is the definition of a couch companion, she would happily curl up beside you and soak in all the love and attention you’re willing to give.

Staci is affectionate, tender, and truly melts into you when she’s being pet. She gives the softest kisses and has a calm, nurturing presence that makes her an easy dog to fall in love with.

She is crate trained, keeps her space tidy, and is quick to go potty. Staci has a fast recall, knows “sit,” and is very food motivated, which makes her responsive and easy to continue working with.

Staci does well with other dogs and has a gentle, friendly nature. She would do best being fed separately, as she can resource guard her food, something not uncommon in dogs who have experienced scarcity before rescue. With simple management, like feeding in her crate, she does very well in a multi-dog home.
She would make a wonderful addition to a family and would do well with children due to her calm and gentle temperament. We also believe she would do well with cats.

Staci was saved from a euthanasia list in Houston, Texas, and is now safe in foster care while waiting for her forever home.

She is fully vetted, spayed, up to date on all vaccinations, and has been maintained on heartworm prevention. She is available for out-of-state transport to the right adopter.

If you’re looking for a sweet, gentle, and loving companion who will happily be your shadow and your cuddle buddy, Staci could be your perfect match. Please reach out to schedule a FaceTime meet and greet and learn more about bringing her home.
