St. Francis's Story

***READ THE PROFILE AND FIND AND COPY LINK AT END FOR AN ADOPTION APPLICATION! ***

St. Francis is a sweet shy shepherd/heeler/rottie mix. He is almost 2 years old and has been in foster care for a year and half. He loves to run and play with his sister St. Maria and some of the other foster pups.. He is still shyest of the group. He gets nervous for pets but has improved as long as you don't try over his head. He will need a patient home willing to gain his trust and show him love. He likes his crate and sleeps in his crate at night. He is more sensitive and would like a dog friend that isn't too dominate. He sometimes sits back and will just watch his people. He knows the doggy door and loves to run around with the other dogs. He'd love a person that will help him gain confidence and be his best friend.

This litter came in at about 6-8 weeks having not had any human contact. They were extremely scared. They have come very far in liking people but are still shy at times and nervous around others. They will need some time to warm up to their new home.

Please research before adopting any pup - make sure your type of home and lifestyle is the right fit for the activity level and needs of the particular breeds mentioned as a possible mix in our rescue pups.

Our puppy adoption fee is $125.00 each and our pups have been spayed/neutered, wormed, vaccinated for kennel cough and have received their parvo/distemper shot and are microchipped!

We require a fenced yard (or if you live in the country with acreage, approval is on a case by case basis). Our dogs must be allowed in their family home and be allowed to sleep inside of the home at night. At adoption you will be required to complete and sign an adoption contract.

We are located in Billings, Montana and require adopters to travel to our location.

****If you are interested in adopting and would like to fill out an application please copy and paste link:

https://airtable.com/shranrPZrFNvGOb0a

Rez Dog Rescue of Montana's Adoption Policy
As the voice of pup/dogs that we rescue and take into our care, our goal is to find them loving furever homes where they become cherished family members. We require homes with fenced yards (acreage in the country will be approved on a case by case basis). At the time of adoption, we require an adoption contract to be signed with the agreement of proper vet care, basic needs being met and the safety of the dog. Meet and greets with the dogs in our care must be pre-arranged through the foster homes since we do not have a shelter. Please contact foster families through individual petfinder ads we have listed. We require in person adoptions. We do not ship or transport. The person or persons who are responsible for and are raising the dog must adopt in person with us.
