Squeaks's Story
Let me introduce you to Squeaks again
Squeaks is a 2-year-old, 9-pound Chihuahua mix who has been in rescue since April of 2025 and has never had a meet and greet. She came into rescue with babies, lovingly raised them, and watched every one of them leave for their forever homes. Now, she is still patiently waiting for someone to choose her.
Squeaks can be a little reserved when first meeting new people and will do best with someone who understands that trust takes time and shouldn't be rushed. She needs a home willing to invest the time and patience it takes to let her adjust, feel safe, and truly flourish.
Once Squeaks feels comfortable, her true personality shines. She forms a deep bond with her person and loves wholeheartedly. Whether you've been gone for 10 minutes or 10 hours, she greets you with excitement and joy.
Squeaks is happiest in a calm, quiet home. She enjoys lounging on the couch, staying close to her person, and simply sharing space together. She would thrive in a home without a lot of visitors—one where she can feel secure and settled.
She is very crate trained and sees her crate as her safe space. When she needs a break, she goes in on her own to relax and decompress.
If you're looking for a loyal companion who will follow you from room to room, cuddle up during TV time, and happily curl up with you at night, Squeaks could be your perfect match.
Need a bathroom buddy? Squeaks has you covered.
Want a couch companion? Squeaks is ready.
Looking for a pup you can carry around the house? That's Squeaks.
She did her job raising her babies. Now she's ready for someone to do theirs—love her, be patient with her, and give her the chance she deserves.

Location & Adoption Requirements – Please Read Carefully
We are located out of Bonifay, Florida and are a foster-based rescue.
We do not have a physical location.
Fenced Yard Requirement
All dogs require a securely fenced yard.
This is a requirement, not a suggestion, and exceptions are not made.
Children in the Home
Unless otherwise specified, our dogs are available to homes with children ages 13 and older.
We often take in timid and sensitive dogs, and each dog's behavior, history, and comfort level is carefully evaluated to ensure the best match.
Pickup & Adoption Area
• All dogs must be picked up in person
• No transport available
• We adopt within a few hours of Bonifay, Florida
These guidelines are in place to protect our dogs and ensure successful, lifelong placements.
Thank you for understanding and respecting our adoption process.
