Squash 's Story

Squash is exactly what his name suggests—short, squishy, and completely irresistible. At 2 years old and just 27 lbs, this bulldog mix is the perfect compact companion, with a stout little body and a heart that somehow seems even bigger.

Squash is an incredibly sweet and gentle boy who takes everything in stride. He gets along well with other dogs and cats, but his favorite place will always be right next to his people. He’s a champion snuggler who happily soaks up every bit of attention you’re willing to give. Whether he’s lounging on the couch or riding along on errands, Squash is simply happy to be by your side.

He does great in the car and is currently working on crate and potty training. He sleeps through the night quietly in his crate and is definitely not a morning guy—he would happily sleep until noon if given the chance. Even early mornings mean a quick potty break followed by going straight back to snooze mode on the couch. He may try to convince you he needs help getting up by putting his front feet up and giving you those irresistible puppy dog eyes, but don’t be fooled—he can do it himself, he’d just rather you help.

Squash loves food—maybe a little too much—and is very motivated by treats, which will make continuing his training fun and rewarding.

Squash is neutered, microchipped, heartworm tested, and current on vaccines. He’s ready to find a forever home that will cherish his snuggly, easygoing nature and appreciate all the love he has to give.

Adoption App:

https://petstablished.com/adoption_form/40532/generic
