He was adopted once, but sadly returned because his family didn’t have enough time for him. Now Squash is ready for a forever home that’s as committed to fun and love as he is!<br/><br/>This handsome guy is a big doofus in the best possible way—he’s one of those dogs who truly doesn’t realize how big he is. Because of his size and happy clumsiness, we recommend Squash for a home with older kids who can handle his enthusiastic affection.<br/><br/>Squash LOVES to wrestle and play with his dog friends and has a great time tossing around his toys like it’s his full-time job. He’d be thrilled to join a family who enjoys walks to the park, strolls by the lake, or any adventure that lets him stretch his legs. And when the day winds down? Come meet this big-hearted boy and get ready to laugh a lot—Squash brings the fun wherever he goes! 🐶🎾💙<br/><br/>If interested in Squash, please apply online: ADOPTION APPLICATION or email us at Info.FetchingHeartsRescue@gmail.com.<br/><br/>Unless otherwise indicated, all dogs adopted through Fetching Hearts have received the following before being available for adoption:<br/><br/>Thorough veterinary examination.<br/>All routine annual vaccinations, including<br/>Rabies, DHLPP<br/>Bordetella (Kennel Cough)<br/>Heartworm Test<br/>Fecal Test, Deworming<br/>Microchip<br/>Flea and Tick Prevention<br/>Heartworm Prevention.<br/>Spay/Neuter<br/>All dogs are quarantined for two weeks outside of the shelter (puppies four weeks) to ensure they don't break with disease.<br/><br/>VETTING NOTE: Fetching Hearts Rescue completely vets our dogs thoroughly to the best of our knowledge based on communication with our Southern Vets. If anything is brought to our attention, we treat the dog. After adopting the dog, you will be responsible for following up with all vetting going forward.<br/><br/>HEARTWORM NOTE: Dogs who were treated for Heartworm can test positive up to 4-6 months after last treatment. All dogs are immediately put on Heartguard/Ivermectin following the treatment to kill the Heartworm larvae. All dogs should be re-tested after 5-6 months from the last Heartworm treatment.
