Spunkys story began in rural Brantley County, where he was found shortly before the fires along with his five siblings and their sweet mama. Even after such a rough beginning, Spunky has shown nothing but joy, curiosity, and love. <br/><br/>True to his name, he is playful, lively, well-socialized, and smart, with the kind of happy little spirit that can brighten any home. Spunky would make an ideal family pet and would do wonderfully with other dogs, or just about anything he is lovingly raised with. <br/><br/>"Spunky is a cute boy who i am so surprised is still here! who could deny that face?! He seems shy at first but comes around quick. He is growing up in rescue and 6 months old now. He would be fine as an only dog with humans to play with or fur friends. He really deserves to find his family. I foster his mama Hazel and she is amazing and i think Spunky is just like her. He has a beautiful coat and the most welcoming eyes. He would need some help on a leash because he has so much room to play, he hasnt been shown how to leash walk yet. We have so many puppies growing up in rescue that its so hard to get them all on a leash when they have nothing but space to roam and play. Knowing his mama though, i think he will be amazing on a leash. He just needs someone to pick him. Thats the hardest part about volunteering.
