Meet SPUD! He is a sweet, spunky little Chihuahua with a serious face and a very loving heart.<br/><br/>SPUD came to Noah's Arks Rescue after being found injured and alone in Georgia. He had no tags, no microchip, and no one came looking for him. He was hobbling in terrible pain and was later diagnosed with a fractured pelvis, a dislocated hip, and a swollen knee. SPUD underwent surgery for his hip and has healed wonderfully.<br/><br/>Now that he is feeling better, SPUD is showing us what a wonderful little dog he truly is.<br/><br/>SPUD is affectionate, social, and loves being near his people. Unless he is smiling, he may look like he is not amused, but do not let that face fool you. What SPUD really wants is love, attention, and as many head pats as he can possibly collect.<br/><br/>His best friend at our facility is PENNY, who arrived around the same time he did. They were day partners while they healed inside, and now they enjoy cruising around the yard together and saying hello to their new friends. SPUD does well with other dogs and would make a great addition to a home with canine companions.<br/><br/>He is also a wonderful candidate for a family with children.
