Spud's Story
Adoptable tripod alert!

A word from Spuds foster mama:

The post worth reading
SPUD aka Spudmuffin
Tripod. Meatball. Professional cuddler. Destroyer of squeaky toys. Occasional con artist.
I've had the honor of fostering this sweet boy since the 30th and honestly? He's impossible not to love.
Spud LOVES kids and genuinely just loves being with people. He wants to be included in everything-walks, cuddles, hanging outside, moving from room to room with you... if you exist nearby, he would like to participate
Dogs? He's a little "OMG HI BEST FRIEND!!!!"
He gets overly excited meeting new dogs, which can absolutely be overwhelming for some dogs at first. But he's not aggressive-he's just really enthusiastic and honestly kind of terrible at introductions. Slow, calm intros make all the difference.
So far, Spud has done well with puppies, kids, humans, and other dogs with proper slow introductions We've already had luck introducing him to one of our female fosters, Atlas, and it's been really encouraging to watch him settle in and connect.
Cats: No
Also important information
Spud LOVES stuffed animals with squeakers.
Estimated lifespan of said toys: 4 hours to 1 day max.
RIP to many brave squeakers.
AND this man has been tricking us into thinking he can't get onto the bed so we'll pick him up like the prince he believes he is... except I caught him red handed on my bed after I left the house and had to run back inside So apparently he can get up there. He just prefers chauffeured service.

This boy has been through so much, including losing a leg, and he still wakes up every day full of joy, love, and excitement for life.

He can also be flown stateside to the right home

Spud deserves someone who sees past the chaos and sees the incredibly loving, goofy, loyal dog underneath it. He's special. Truly.
