Spruce is a 3-year-old Poodle/Terrier mix weighing about 8 lbs looking for a loving forever home. This sweet little guy is full of personality and charm. He loves going on walks, riding in the car, and keeping an eye on those pesky squirrels outside. Spruce is a loving companion who enjoys being around his people and does great with other dogs and children.<br/><br/>Spruce is house trained and crate trained with no separation anxiety. He settles nicely in his crate and travels very well in the car. During the adjustment period in a new home, he may mark indoors at first, so we recommend a family that understands decompression and transition periods. Using a belly band/diaper initially can help while he adjusts, and this behavior does improve with consistency and routine.<br/><br/>While Spruce is not aggressive with cats, he does like to chase and bark at them, so we are looking for a home without cats for him.<br/><br/>Spruce would do best with a patient and loving family ready to give him structure, affection, and time to settle in.
