Sprout

Sprout is an 11-month-old chi-weenie but looks full blood doxi and acts doxi. I see no chi characteristics. He belonged to an elderly lady who was bedbound(kids stop buying puppies for old people). So he spent much of his time in bed close to someone. He will not work in a home where you are gone all day. He wants to be with you... on you, beside you. You will need to go out with him to potty until he feels safe. He is fine with other dogs but does not share, understandable, as he was starved when I got him, he has had to fight for every scrap. He was literally skin and bones. He plays with a soft ball, not a hard one. Loves chicken jerky. Please, please consider your age!!! This dog could live another 18 yrs. All my doxis have lived to be 19. Will you still be here? Able to care for him in 18 yrs? Most of my owner surrenders come from people when they turn about 80.
