Sprig's Story

Sprig is around 10 years old and came to us mid Sept after being used for hunting and living outside for her entire life. She is incredibly sweet and soaking up as much love as she can get. During her spay it was found that she did have a high grade heart murmur. After ultrasound it showed that she has the very early stages of heart failure. She could live many more great years or she could have a shorter life expectancy. She is listed as special needs because of that. She will need an adopter who can keep the consistency with potty breaks and going outside because she has never been indoors before, she is doing great so far!<br/>She is good with other dogs and has been OK with cats so far too. She is very sweet and has a lot of potential. <br/>If you'd like to donate towards dogs like Sprig, we could use all the help that we could get. The seniors tend to be the most costly to take in but they deserve a chance too. Venmo @UnFurgetMe and in the note "senior fund"<br/><br/>Check out unfurget.org under Adopt for an application to adopt or take her home on a trial adoption.

Furget Me Not's Adoption Policy
All pets are evaluated medically and behaviorally before being placed in foster homes and placed up for adoption. Dogs and cats go to potential adopter's homes on a foster or "trial" basis to begin with. We supply everything that they need to get started so there is no upfront cost. We provide the guidance and support needed to have a successful experience for both you and the pet. Depending on the pet, you may find out whether it's a good fit or not within a few days or it may take weeks. Regardless, our goal is to make sure it's a good match and that both you and the pet are happy. We pride ourselves on a streamlined foster to adopt process and are committed to being matchmakers.
