Spot (45 lbs)'s Story

SPOT (45 lbs)

Dalmatian X

3 yr old Male

Good with dogs, cats and kids

Spot has a soft, soulful gaze that hints at a difficult past. When he first arrived, he was so frightened he wouldn’t leave the safety of his crate for days. Curled up inside, he watched the world from a distance, as if expecting it to hurt him again. Whatever he’s been through left him shaken—but not broken.

Slowly and gently, Spot is learning to trust. Each small step forward is a quiet act of bravery: a hesitant tail wag, a curious glance, a moment where he dares to believe he might be safe. His crate is still his sanctuary, but he’s beginning to venture beyond it, hoping there’s kindness waiting on the other side.

Spot isn’t the kind of dog who will rush up to greet you—but with patience, understanding, and a gentle heart, he will show you something truly special. He’s looking for a calm, loving home where he can continue to heal at his own pace, with people who understand that trust is earned, not rushed.

The reward? A deeply loyal, tender companion who will love you with his whole heart—because you were the one who showed him he no longer has to be afraid.

Spot is housetrained and walks well on a leash, though he may give a slight tug when something startles him. He does well with other dogs and would likely be fine with cats. We believe he would also be great with children.

Adoption Fee: $498

If you are interested in adoption, instead of emailing PARS, please download the Application form at:
www.peelanimalrescuesociety.com/adopt-a-dog
Fill the form and email to:
info@peelanimalrescuesociety.com
