Spot's Story

My name is Spot and I'm looking for someone to give me a chance! I'm a sweet girl at about 1 year old and about 56 lbs. My favorite toy is a ball and I love to play fetch with them. I'll will proudly run after it after when you throw it. Then I'll bring it up to you to show off rather than give it back. It takes me some convincing to let it go, but I'm getting the hang of the game! I'm a bit reserved with new people, but I have such a sweet personality that I'm hoping you can see through my shyness. I've lived with and have met other dogs and I do well with them. I'm still learning how to walk on a leash, but I'm doing so much better from where I started. If you sit on the ground, I'll crawl into your lap for some loving's. I've lived with cats, but my previous owner said I need some work living around them. The staff here are unsure about my history with children, but they hope I can do well with proper and slow introductions. I'm looking for a person who will guide me through the world and help me gain the confidence that I don't have in myself.

I'm fixed, vaccinated, microchipped and up to date on parasite preventatives. My adoption fee has been sponsored by donation!

If you are interested, please call the shelter at (541) 474-5458. You can view more adoptable pets at www.jocoshelter.com/adoptions . Walk-ins are welcome, however we highly recommend calling first to check on availability and location (some animals may be offsite or unavailable). Appointments are recommended to reduce wait times, especially for dogs. Thank you!
