From what everyone says, I must have had a home before—I’ve got pretty good manners and I really like being around people.<br/><br/>I’m a Lab mix, around 67 lbs, though I could stand to gain a little weight. I’ve got a calm, easygoing personality and I’m just a genuinely sweet guy. I get along well with other dogs, I’m friendly with people, and I’ve even done well around cats. I’m not here to cause trouble—I just want to be part of things.<br/><br/>I seem to be potty trained and I try not to make a mess in my kennel. I walk nicely on a leash and do well in the car, so I’m pretty easy to take along wherever you go. I’m the kind of dog who just wants to be near his people and live a quiet, comfortable life.<br/><br/>I did test positive for heartworms and anaplasmosis (a tick-borne illness), and I’m currently being treated with doxycycline and ProHeart 12. The good news is that with treatment, dogs typically do very well, and according to the American Heartworm Society, I’m expected to test negative in about 8–10 months.
