She entered the shelter fearful and lashing out at staff due to her not understanding what was happening. She had gotten better by the time she got to Pearl's Place, but was still a little apprehensive of her situation. She immediately found safety in Pearl's Place's founder Lisa and recognized Brit from her time at the shelter. It took no time for Spirit to come out of her shell and understand that she would be loved and taken care of at Pearl's. <br/><br/>Spirit has become a special member of Pearl's Place, playing with the dogs and having fun with a flirt pole. She has really come into her own here. While we love her and enjoy her so much, we really want Spirit to have a family and home of her own. She loves her people with an excitement that is unmatched and we want her to have people who love her with just as much excitement. <br/><br/>Spirits requirements would probably be, if we could ask her... <br/> - someone who likes to play ball<br/> - a warm bed to sleep on<br/> - hopefully a fur sibling to play with<br/> - a yard to run in<br/> - food in her belly<br/><br/>That's it. Though we think she'd really enjoy agility or fast cat. She'd also be happy to just play ball every day for a few minutes. She's working on her stranger danger instincts, but is coming around and just needs someone who understands that she's scared and lets her approach them.
