Meet Spike! He is heartworm positive, but has started treatment and rescue will pay for it to continue. He is 2 years old and weighs 48.6 lbs. when we got Spike he was severely underweight. He is looking healthy and his fur is improving. He and his brother were found on the streets in Georgia. He is such a sweet soul. He gets along with dogs, cats, horse and people. He should be good with kids. Has not been tested. He is learning manners still,he sits, comes when called and wants to please you. Walks nice on a leash. We highly recommend an obedience or rally class so you can enjoy him even more. He is difficult getting in a crate, but once in he relaxes and is fine. Adoption fee is $300. And you must pick up.
