Spike's Story
Meet Spike!

Spike is a 3-year-old, 55-pound sweetheart who's ready to find his forever home. He came to us from a local county animal control and has been patiently waiting since 4/8/26 for a family who can give him the time and care he deserves. Spike is a gentle, loving boy who just needs a little time to warm up, but once he does, his sweet personality really shines.

Because he can be a bit shy at first, Spike would do best in a patient home with older children who can respect his need to adjust at his own pace. We recommend setting up a meet and greet at the shelter with any resident dogs prior to adoption to ensure a great fit, and we ask that everyone in the household meet him before bringing him home.

Spike is neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccinations and preventatives. If you're interested in meeting him or learning more, please reach out to an adoption counselor by phone at (517) 626-6060 or email at adoptions@adoptlansing.org. He's excited to find a patient, loving family to call his own!
