Speck's Story

Meet Speck!
2 Years Old 13 lbs Tibetan Spaniel Mix Male
Meet Speck, a sweet, shy little boy who is looking for a patient and loving person to show him just how wonderful life can be!
Speck was under-socialized in his first home, so the big world can feel a little overwhelming to him. When he is unsure, he tends to sit in one spot and freeze until he begins to feel more comfortable. He will need a family who understands that trust takes time and is willing to let him blossom at his own pace. But underneath that shy exterior is a sweet little cuddler who just wants to feel loved and special! Speck loves snuggling on the couch and would be happiest curled up close to his person. He would even love to sleep right beside his human if given the chance!
Speck is crate trained and house trained, and he is still learning how to walk on a leash. He isn't particularly interested in playing with other dogs and mostly ignores them, so he could be perfectly happy as the only dog in the home, where he can enjoy all the love and attention for himself.
Speck is neutered, up to date on vaccinations, and microchipped, so he is ready to find the loving forever home he deserves!
Speck needs a patient, gentle adopter who will give him time to build confidence and learn that he is safe and loved. A secure, escape-proof fenced yard is required because Speck can climb small fences, so his family will need to ensure his outdoor space is safe.
Speck’s adoption fee is $350.
